Bio

I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at Northeastern University, advised by Prof. Jenny Ren. My research interests lie in scalable, high-performance, and reliable computing systems, particularly distributed systems and operating systems, with broader interests in AI infrastructure.

Previously, I received my B.Eng. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Southern University of Science and Technology. I am grateful to have worked with researchers including Prof. Zhuozhao Li, Prof. Ryan Huang, and Prof. Yinqian Zhang.

How to pronounce Site Fan?

“Site” as in website, “Fan” as in admirer. In Chinese, my name is 樊 斯特.

If you prefer the Chinese order (Fán Sī-tè), saying it a little faster sounds roughly like “Fanst.”
